Nova von Nordholz is a beautiful 2 year old German Shepherd. Always eager to please, she will promptly sit on command and offer her paw when asked. On walks she stays close to her handler and frequently checks in for direction. She has a medium energy level and she enjoys getting out and about, evident by her perpetually wagging tail and cheery gait. This love bug adores her people and will lean in close at the prospect of head rubs and a few cuddles. Nova loves tossing a toy or ball around, but if you want a fan for life, just offer her a car ride, even if it's just for a block or two! She is house-trained and well-behaved in the home, and aside from a bit of initial jumping up with excitement, she did mind her manners when children came to visit in her prior home. Around other dogs, she does well in pack walks and enjoys running in the play yard, dutifully greeting the dogs who enter. Typical of many German Shepherds, she gets excited when she's off-leash with other dogs and can be rather exuberant when playing, so she would be best when paired with a tolerant dog of her size. Nova is a young active girl who is looking for a home that is cat and small-dog free, with human companions who will continue with her training.
